Harvey bernard MILK was born on the May 22, he was the first politician openly gay, he became a supervisor of san francisco and decided to fight to legalize the right of gay people. We are all human, we all need respect whoever our heart decide to love. This man it's a real inspiration of courage and temerity to everyone. No matter if we are gay or not, we all have to take care of the movement this man bring in the USA and all over the world. But his not the only one fighting for this, everyday people says loud who they are but unfortunatly too much don't do it, and leave with this sad condanation to not being themselves. For a long time and also today, people put shame on gay people bacause they are different, I'TS WRONG. Until he was 40, milk, wasn't open about his homosexuality, he moved from New York to san Francisco in 1972 and decided to affirm who he really was, he also started his career in politic. He's been assasinated by Dan white on November 27, 1978 in the same time of the mayor George Moscone. M. White was an another supervisor and after he lost his job he decided to kill Harvey milk and Moscone, who, in his opinion, were the cause of his new position. A movie of his life was recently made by Lance black and his character interpreted by sean penn. They both received an oscar in the last ceremony (2009). Lance black made a speech really inspiring, i would like to share with you one of his most beautiful sentence: ''to all you gay and lesbian kids, you are beautiful, wondrous creatures of value, no matter what anyone says.''
